Here is an item that I have heard about several times. We need to keep track of our credit cards, debit cards, and other ID numbers. So here is a simple way to begin this process. Clean out your wallet. Throw away all the trash, put away the items you were saving to put some place else, and file the receipts you need to keep. When it is all clean then lay out all the cards – everything in the wallet except cash and checks – on the copy machine. Make a copy. Then turn over all the cards while keeping them in the same spot and make a copy of the backs of everything. File this in your safety deposit box, safe, and important records file. It is also good to have a copy of your passport and put these copies together.
